Spring
2003 Fall 2002 I've drive in to the
VAZ-2106 back. With it's tusk it pressed me in the front panel, bamber
have cracked, buckle appeared on the right outrigger over the wheel arch,
front right corner moved down, and bonnet started to close up not
tightely.
Then was a winter. In the open air. Everything have rusted thoroughly,
floor remains started to peel off, right door have sagged.
Long-time approaching desigion about overhaul have been taken. I've
startted to search for appropriate sevice station.
First time I've chosen "Car-Systems" - for territirial
closeness, and I liked their web site.
Approximate estimation of the _full_ body repair gave an astronomical
number of $5300. It became clear that I either have to find a private
enthusiast, either a service station somewhere far from Moscow.
In the Web conference "body repairs" at auto.ru just one man
answered, he adviced to go to AutoTrust (it's on Minsk highway). There they asked $800.
That was closer.
Scanning the same conference, I found the advertizing of
"Dunkan-Auto". Settled by e-mail, first price was 450 green.
The nearest saturday we with my friend on two cars (he has VAZ-2109)
took the fishing rods and and got off to the great town Jukov, that is on
the Protva river. We were met quite good, service's chief - Almaz
Mazahimovich - is quite a pleazent men in communication.
The view of the car caused kind of stagnation. We remembered in the
low voce pronounced phrase:
"- there's NO floor!...."
Netherless the price was dropped 50 buks more, I left the keys and
prepayment, and we gone to fishing. Fishy places were shown to us by
Almaz's sone . |
